OUR HISTORY:

EFAYE celebrates its newly opened organization January 1, 2010, which will bridge the Gap in the southern sector of Dallas County by helping our low-income to moderate families that struggle without the basic essential needs; food, clothing, housing, employment, health, and human services.

The life experiences of EFAYE founder, Brenda Kirk, of seeing the dignity and respect of many impoverished and low income families stripped away due to life circumstances inspired the creation of the organization, an organization that will serve as the voice, an advocate, and instrument to assist those in need. The creation and development of EFAYE will help families by teaching them self empowerment, the rewards of sharing, and skills for transforming the community to promote and enhance quality of life.

EFAYE will extend the “reach” in outreach by employing innovative ideas in servicing our clients. It is our purpose to practice Romans 12:13, which states,” Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice Hospitality”. We at EFAYE believe that with hope, faith, humility, and hospitality, we can build a bridge to inform and empower our clients by respecting their dignity and pride. Our holistic approach will instill a mindset of hospitality first in transforming the surrounding communities to self sufficiency.

GOAL:
Our goal is to be a shared-plan nonprofit 501c3 organization with community and business partners that will help educate and support the surrounding communities to meet the basic needs of impoverished and low income families and to promote healthier living in the home, school, and community.
